The Caesar Rodney Riders football squad scored 45 points and limited the host Sussex Central Golden Knights to 35 in the Riders league triumph on Friday.

The Riders now hold a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Cape Henlopen for a 3A District 2 challenge on Thursday, October 30. Caesar Rodney will play a Vikings team coming off a 47-28 league win over Dover (Dover, DE). The Vikings record now stands at 5-3.

The Golden Knights (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Georges Tech (Middletown, DE). The Hawks go into the 3A District 2 challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, St. Georges Tech lost by Smyrna (Smyrna, DE), 44-12, in a league challenge.
