Basketball Recap: San Marino Takes a Loss

San Marino was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 48-41 to the Wilson Wildcats. That's two games in a row now that the Titans have lost by exactly seven points.

Wilson found their leader in sophomore Jillian Tung, who posted 16 points in addition to five rebounds and five steals. Those five steals set a new season-high mark for Tung. The team also got some help courtesy of Chloe Chen, who had six points along with 12 boards and three steals.

San Marino's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Wilson, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-8.

San Marino didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 36-30 victory against Don Lugo on the 12th. Wilson and Los Altos will compete for holiday cheer at 5:00 p.m. on December 19th.
