Jefferson has been on a difficult stretch since their win on the 17th. They lost 6-0 to the Sioux City North Stars on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Jefferson can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa soccer rankings (they are ranked 139th, while Sioux City North are ranked 48th).

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 5-7-1. As for Sioux City North, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-4 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jefferson will host Lewis Central at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sioux City North, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bishop Heelan Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
