Softball Recap: Tattnall Square Academy Takes a Loss

Tattnall Square Academy and Calvary Christian pushed the score to 14-12 the last time they played Calvary Christian, but on Tuesday defenses reigned supreme. The Trojans fell just short of the Knights by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Trojans couldn't push the score so high this time.

Tattnall Square Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryton Tarver, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

With the loss, Tattnall Square Academy broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-6. As for Calvary Christian, their victory was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-2.

Looking ahead, Tattnall Square Academy will venture away from home to face off against Loganville Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Calvary Christian, they will welcome Brookstone at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. The Knights' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cougars have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season.
