Preview: San Bernardino Cardinals vs. Rubidoux Falcons

San Bernardino and Rubidoux are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2018, but not for long. The San Bernardino Cardinals will be playing at home against the Rubidoux Falcons at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully San Bernardino focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Tuesday.

On Tuesday, San Bernardino was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 31-30 to Jurupa Valley. San Bernardino has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, San Bernardino had strong showings from Rihanna Scott, who scored six points along with nine rebounds and two steals, and Laniah Porter, who scored four points along with nine rebounds. Scott hasn't dropped below two blocks for three straight games.

Meanwhile, Rubidoux had to endure an 11-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They skirted past Pacific 38-35. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Rubidoux has posted yet this season.

San Bernardino's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Rubidoux, their win ended a nine-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-16.

Everything came up roses for San Bernardino against Rubidoux in their previous meeting on January 9th as the team secured a 47-17 win. Will San Bernardino repeat their success, or does Rubidoux have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
