Lakeview scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a blow against the Montgomery Tigers, falling 46-14. If the Gators were looking for revenge after losing 50-20 to the Tigers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Mason Jordan had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 280 yards and seven touchdowns while completing 92.3% of his passes for Montgomery. The dominant performance also gave Jordan a new career-high in passer rating (170.7). Montgomery's leading receiver Eli Bullock was Jordan's top target yet again, picking up 139 receiving yards and three scores.

Lakeview's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Montgomery, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.

Looking ahead, Lakeview will challenge St. Mary at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Montgomery, they will face off against LaSalle at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
