Baseball Recap: Lithonia Takes a Loss

Lithonia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 15-0 to the Southwest DeKalb Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-0 last Wednesday.

Lithonia's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Southwest DeKalb, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-7.

Looking ahead, Lithonia will square off against Druid Hills at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Southwest DeKalb, they will head out to face off against Redan at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Redan knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Southwest DeKalb likes a good challenge.
