Hampton won against Eagle's Landing last Monday with 15 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Hornets were the clear victors by a 15-1 margin over the Eagles. The win continues a trend for the Hornets in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won four in a row.

Hampton got a massive performance out of Gavin Aiken, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. That's the most runs Aiken has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Leo Vivaldi Garcia, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.

Hampton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Hampton's record now sits at 6-16. As for Eagle's Landing, they dropped their record down to 0-22 with the defeat, which was their 22nd straight at home dating back to last season.
