Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Don Bosco). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Colo-NESCO Royals a 17-0 shutout on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Dons, who have now won nine games by seven runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Don Bosco and bumps their season record up to 10-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Colo-NESCO, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.

Don Bosco will be playing in front of their home fans against GMG at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wolverines' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so the Dons' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Colo-NESCO, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 12-2 loss against AGWSR on the 17th.
