Jefferson City had to kick off their season on the road on Wednesday, but they showed no ill effects. They put the hurt on the Warrensburg Tigers with a sharp 11-1 win. The victory continues a trend for the Jays in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won four in a row.

Warrensburg's defeat was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-4.
