Soccer Recap: Yucca Valley Takes a Loss

Yucca Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Indio Rajahs, falling 5-2. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, with their most recent defeat being a 4-0 loss last Tuesday.

Madelynn Dougherty and Willow Jones scored both of Yucca Valley's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 18 goals.

Yucca Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9-1. As for Indio, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 12-9-1 record this season.

Yucca Valley has already played their next contest, a 7-0 win against Twentynine Palms on the 4th. As for Indio, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Coachella Valley on the 4th.
