Gunnison is  a perfect 10-0 against Aspen since September of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Cowboys will be playing in front of their home fans against the Skiers  at 2:00  p.m. Gunnison has given up an average of 10.7  runs per game this season, but Tuesday's  game will give them a chance to turn things around.
On Friday, Gunnison came up short against Meeker  and fell  11-8.
Meanwhile, Aspen was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight  loss. They lost  18-2 to Basalt.
 Aspen saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Ainsley Loeb, who  went a perfect 1-for-1 with one  run and one  double.  Annaliese Ingram was another,  getting on base  in both of her plate appearances with one  stolen base and one  RBI.
 Gunnison's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Aspen, their loss dropped their record down to 1-12.
 Everything went Gunnison's way against Aspen in their previous meeting  back in October of 2024, as Gunnison made off with  an  18-1 win. Do  the Cowboys have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Skiers turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
