Softball Recap: Duncan Comes Up Short

Duncan made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Southmoore, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Demons fell just short of the SaberCats by a score of 4-2 on Friday. The Demons just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Duncan's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Southmoore, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

Duncan will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on MacArthur at 5:00 p.m. on September 8. As for Southmoore, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 7-5 defeat against Pryor on the 29th.
