Orcutt Academy won the last time they faced San Marcos and Elizabeth Johnson did her part to make sure it happened again. The Spartans secured a 57-51 W over the Royals on Thursday for which the team can thank Johnson, who dropped a double-double with 26 points and 14 rebounds. The game was her 32nd in a row with at least 16 points.

Another player making a difference was Lylah Garcia, who posted three points in addition to six boards and three steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last four games she's played.

The win got Orcutt Academy back to even at 3-3. As for San Marcos, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
