With a playoff win on the line, Wolfson rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the Stanton Blue Devils. The win continues a trend for the Wolfpack in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now won eight in a row.

Ryan Rhoden spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on six hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Angel Bairan was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaydin Morrissey, who earned two runs and two stolen bases.

Wolfson's record now sits at 15-11. As for Stanton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-10 record this season.

Wolfson will take on Suwannee at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Stanton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
