Soccer Game Preview: Highlands vs. Esparto

Highlands is 1-9 against Esparto since May of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Scots will head out on the road to take on the Spartans at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Highlands is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They never let San Juan get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory on Tuesday. Shayla Morales was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Esparto beat Woodland Christian 2-0 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for Esparto.

Esparto's win bumped their record up to 8-3-1. As for Highlands, they now have a winning record of 7-6-1.
