Amphitheater barely beat Cholla the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Chargers on Wednesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Panthers as it spelled an end to their four-match losing streak.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-14, 25-16.

Amphitheater had a senior duo take command as Isabella Espinoza had 21 assists and Kayla Tuakalau had ten kills. Tuakalau is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had nine or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Amphitheater's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 5-9. As for Cholla, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-12.

Amphitheater wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Sahuarita on the 15th. As for Cholla, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Desert Christian on the 10th.
