Volleyball Recap: Amphitheater's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Amphitheater barely beat Cholla the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Chargers on Wednesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Panthers as it spelled an end to their four-match losing streak.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-14, 25-16.

Amphitheater's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 5-9. As for Cholla, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-12.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Amphitheater is set to challenge their familiar foe Sahuarita at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Cholla will square off against rival Rio Rico at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
