Softball Recap: Jefferson Takes a Loss

Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sioux City West Wolverines. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, with their most recent defeat being a 14-3 loss on Thursday.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 9-28. As for Sioux City West, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jefferson will venture away from home to square off against Denison-Schleswig at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Sioux City West, they will head out to face off against Storm Lake at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
