Softball Recap: Benson Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Benson's offense. They lost 17-0 to the Papillion-LaVista Monarchs on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for the Bunnies in their meetings with the Monarchs: they've now lost five in a row.

Benson's defeat dropped their record down to 9-19. As for Papillion-LaVista, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-9.

Benson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Papillion-LaVista, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 6-4 victory against Lincoln East on the 8th.
