Basketball Game Preview: Superior Panthers vs. Ray Bearcats

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Superior Panthers face off against the Ray Bearcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday... Superior is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.

Superior is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Valley Lutheran on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Superior was outmatched by Valley Lutheran and fell 68-33. The Panthers were down 58-30 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Meanwhile, Ray came up short against Hayden on Tuesday and fell 64-57. The Bearcats haven't had much luck with the Lobos recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Superior's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Ray, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-12.
