Basketball Recap: Lompoc Continues Home Dominance on Friday

There's no place like home for Lompoc, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They walked away with a 48-36 victory over the Paso Robles Bearcats on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Braves: when they faced off against the Bearcats back in December of 2024, they had to take a 44-31 defeat.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lompoc to victory, but perhaps none more so than Isabelle Morales, who posted nine points and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Halee Sager, who put up nine points.

Lompoc's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-7. As for Paso Robles, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-9.

Lompoc will square off against Cabrillo at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cabrillo will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Lompoc surely won't give up without a fight. As for Paso Robles, they will face off against Templeton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
