Soccer Game Preview: LaGrange vs. Lowndes

The LaGrange Grangers will challenge the Lowndes Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lowndes took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on LaGrange, who comes in off a win.

LaGrange barely beat Sandy Creek the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. LaGrange blew past Sandy Creek 6-1 on Thursday. The Grangers haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, while the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was Pierce County who was credited with the victory on Tuesday. Pierce County got it done in the shootout by posting one goals to Lowndes' zero. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Joseph Rudolphi and Louis Beavers scored both of Lowndes' goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

Lowndes' loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for LaGrange, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.
