Baseball Recap: Mexico Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Mexico won against Moberly on Thursday with three runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Bulldogs beat the Winfield Warriors by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 3-2. The win was familiar territory for the Bulldogs, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Brady Fox spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Colton Dickey, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Mexico's victory bumped their record up to 23-12. As for Winfield, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.

As of now, neither Mexico nor Winfield have any future games scheduled.
