The Magnolia Science Academy Pirates suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Wednesday. They took a serious blow against Avalon, falling 55-15. Magnolia Science Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Frida Cortez was Magnolia Science Academy's leading scorer, having posted six points.
Magnolia Science Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Avalon, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-9.
Magnolia Science Academy will head out on the road to take on Samueli Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Avalon, they will play host again and welcome San Gabriel Academy, where tip off is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Monday.
