Softball Recap: Weld Central Rebels vs. Rocky Ford Meloneers

Weld Central extended their losing streak to three on Saturday, dropping them down to 2-3. They took a 13-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rocky Ford Meloneers. The Rebels were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Meloneers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.

Jadeyn Sifuentes was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Reagan Sharp also deserves some recognition as she got her first hits of the season.
