Softball Recap: Putnam City Comes Up Short

Putnam City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 10-3 to the Edmond Santa Fe Wolves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-2 back in August.

Putnam City's defeat dropped their record down to 6-30. As for Edmond Santa Fe, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-22.

Putnam City wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 21-2 loss against Stillwater on the 8th. As for Edmond Santa Fe, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Southmoore on the 8th.
