It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Neumann ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Cambridge Christian Lancers 6-5. The Celtics have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lancers, too.
Luke Parrish made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
