Softball Recap: Edmund Burke Academy Comes Up Short

Edmund Burke Academy lost against Brentwood back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Spartans fell just short of the War Eagles by a score of 8-7. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Edmund Burke Academy now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Brentwood, their win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-0.

Looking ahead, Edmund Burke Academy will welcome Georgia School for Innovation & Classics at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Brentwood will be paying especially close attention to the Spartans' contest: after the Spartans face off against the Patriots, they'll take on Brentwood again at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
