Softball Recap: New Manchester Comes Up Short

South Paulding hit New Manchester with a five-run first inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Jaguar came up short against the Spartans, falling 12-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Jaguar of the 15-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

New Manchester's loss dropped their record down to 1-4-1. As for South Paulding, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-6.
