Baseball Recap: Echols County Comes Up Short

Echols County lost to Brooks County back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 5-4. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Echols County's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Brooks County, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-8.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Echols County will square off against rival Charlton County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Brooks County is set to challenge their familiar foe Irwin County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
