Baseball Recap: Northview Victorious

Northview won the last time they faced North Springs and things went their way on Friday too. The Northview Titans won by a run and slipped past the North Springs Spartans 6-5. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Titans.

Northview got a great performance from Logan Brown as he struck out 12 batters over 6.2 innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits.

At the plate, Dylan Schmidt was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three). Lincoln Nelson was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Northview's win bumped their record up to 4-10. As for North Springs, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.

Coming up, Northview will take on Mountain View at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Springs, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Southwest DeKalb at 5:00 p.m.
