Soccer Recap: North Cobb Comes Up Short

North Cobb was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 6-1 to the Marietta Blue Devils. While losing is never fun, North Cobb can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 137th, while Marietta are ranked 24th).

North Cobb's goal came courtesy of Andres Williams, who's now up to seven this season.

North Cobb now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Marietta, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-2.

North Cobb and Marietta will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Warriors see the pitch they'll take on Allatoona at 6:00 p.m. on the 15th. As for Marietta, their break will end when they face Sprayberry at 8:00 p.m. on the 15th.
