Softball Recap: Marian Takes a Loss

Marian lost against Millard South back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Crusaders lost 11-1 to the Patriots. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brooklyn Kincaid was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. That triple was her first of the season.

Marian's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Millard South, their win bumped their record up to 7-9.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Marian will challenge rival Bellevue West at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Millard South is set to take on their familiar foe Burke at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
