Soccer Recap: Castro Valley Takes a Loss

There was early excitement for Castro Valley after they claimed the first goal on Thursday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of the College Park Falcons by a score of 2-1. The Trojans just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Castro Valley now has a losing record at 2-3. As for College Park, their record now sits at 2-0-5.

After both having extra time off, Castro Valley and Bishop O'Dowd will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 6:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025. Bishop O'Dowd is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.7 goals per game this season. As for College Park, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Carondelet at 4:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
