Soccer Recap: Rockdale County Takes a Loss

Rockdale County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Shiloh Generals. Rockdale County fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against Shiloh since on Tuesday.

Rockdale County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12-1. As for Shiloh, their victory bumped their record up to 2-7.

Rockdale County and Shiloh could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. The Bulldogs will face off against Hebron Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (288 vs. 32). Meanwhile, Shiloh (ranked 318th) will meet Discovery (ranked 134th) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
