Recap: Enochs Eagles vs. Pitman Pride

The Enochs Eagles lost against the Pitman Pride back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Enochs lost to Pitman on the road by a decisive 65-47 margin. Enochs has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Enochs lost, one person who can't be blamed is Maya Ramsay. Despite the final result, she scored eight points along with three steals. Ramsay is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Izzy Ramel, who scored six points.

Even though they lost, Enochs were working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Dailynn Greener was her usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 31 points and nine rebounds for Pitman. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Greener has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Elizabeth Webb, who scored 16 points along with eight steals.

Enochs has not been sharp recently as the team's lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season. As for Pitman, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-10.

Enochs will be playing at home against Downey at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Enochs focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 31 on Tuesday. As for Pitman, they will head out on the road to square off against Gregori at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Gregori focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Tuesday.
