Window Rock is 8-2 against Ganado since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Fighting Scouts are taking a road trip to challenge the Hornets at 4:00 p.m. Window Rock has given up an average of 10.9 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Window Rock is headed into Monday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Thursday. They came up short against Monument Valley, falling 18-7.

Hope Slinkey made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one triple and two RBI. That triple was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryleigh Owens, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Meanwhile, Ganado got the win against Chinle on Wednesday by a conclusive 19-2.

Ganado's win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 8-13. As for Window Rock, their loss dropped their record down to 7-14.

Window Rock took their victory against Ganado when the teams last played on Friday by a conclusive 13-7 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Fighting Scouts since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
