            Softball Recap: Guthrie Bluejays vs. Carl Albert Titans        
        
		
        
        
            After flying high against Pauls Valley  on Thursday, Guthrie came back down to earth. The Bluejays lost  14-4 to the Carl Albert Titans on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  loss the Bluejays have suffered  since August 15th.
 Guthrie saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Ryn McCormick, who  went 1-for-2 with one  run and one  double. That  double was  McCormick's first of the season.  Codi Hibbs was another,  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances with one  run.
Guthrie's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Carl Albert, the  victory was  the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-5.
 Guthrie and Carl Albert should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage  in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings. The Bluejays (ranked 138th) will meet Santa Fe South (ranked 294th)  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Meanwhile,  Carl Albert will  square off against  Edmond Santa Fe  at 1:00  p.m.  on Friday with a big rank  advantage  (43 vs. 156).
