Baseball Recap: Albany Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Albany can now relate to. They lost 10-3 to the Colonie Central Wolfpack on Saturday. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Wolfpack recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Albany's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Colonie Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

Albany does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Colonie Central, they will challenge Saratoga Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wolfpack 3.1, the Blue Streaks 3.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
