The Mustangs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Cristo Rey Atlanta on Wednesday. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Fulton Science Academy were the better team in the second half.

Kerim Sener was the driving force of Fulton Science Academy's attack as he scored both of Fulton Science Academy's goals, bringing his season total up to 14 goals.

Meanwhile, The King's Academy fell victim to Pinecrest Academy and their airtight defense on Thursday. They came up short against the Paladins, falling 3-0. The King's Academy have struggled against Pinecrest Academy recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Fulton Science Academy's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 54 goals over those nine games. As for The King's Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-4-1.

Fulton Science Academy took their victory against The King's Academy in their previous matchup last Tuesday by a conclusive 6-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
