Basketball Recap: Eastside College Prep Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Eastside College Prep can now relate to. They were dealt a 54-15 loss at the hands of the Summit Shasta Black Bears on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 76-30 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Eastside College Prep's loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Summit Shasta, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 16-5.

As of now, neither Eastside College Prep nor Summit Shasta have any future games scheduled.
