Baseball Recap: Marian Central Catholic Comes Up Short

If Marian Central Catholic was feeling good fresh off their 16-2 takedown of St. Edward on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hurricanes fell 6-2 to the Timothy Christian Trojans on Thursday. The Hurricanes haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Harrison Graf made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Marian Central Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Timothy Christian, their record is now 4-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Marian Central Catholic will challenge Northridge at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Timothy Christian, they will face off against Crystal Lake South at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
