Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Nitro walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Lincoln County Panthers with a sharp 10-0 victory on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for Nitro, who have now won ten matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Lincoln County from everywhere, as nine different players booted in a goal. Kendra Steele led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Nitro pushed their record up to 13-4-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those seven contests. As for Lincoln County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14-4.

Looking ahead, Nitro will be playing in front of their home fans against South Charleston at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Lincoln County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
