Beecher's match on Saturday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. They were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over the Momence Momence Athletics. Beecher might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 contests by three goals or more this season.

They hit Momence with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Wences Baumgartner (2), Trever Panazzo, and Tyler Olson.

The victory was the third in a row for Beecher, bringing their record up to 17-5-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three matchups. As for Momence, with the defeat, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 10-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Beecher will square off against Herscher at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Momence, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Reed-Custer at 6:30 p.m. on the 22nd.
