Football Recap: Make It Seven in a Row for Pine Island

It was a proper cat-fight when Pine Island challenged Lake City on Friday. The Panthers breezed past the Tigers to the tune of 47-6. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Panthers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota football rankings (they are ranked 24th, while the Tigers are ranked 198th).

The win keeps Pine Island at an undefeated 7-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 41.6 points this season. As for Lake City, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-5.
