Recap: Northgate Broncos vs. Montgomery Vikings
With a playoff game on the line, the Northgate Broncos rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They secured a 41-37 W over the Vikings. The victory was familiar territory for Northgate who now have three in a row.
Amelia Schrag was her usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 18 points and nine rebounds. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Samantha Myhr, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds.
Northgate has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 23-9 record this season. As for Montgomery, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-10.
