Basketball Recap: Bassett Comes Up Short

Bassett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Edgewood Lions and fell 43-16. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Olympians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 56-4 on January 7th.

Bassett's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Edgewood, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 12-11.

Bassett has already played their next matchup (against Ganesha), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Edgewood will face off against Pomona at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
