Softball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Dacula

It's playoff time, and Dacula had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Camden County Wildcats by a score of 9-4 on Monday. The victory was familiar territory for the Falcons, who have now won four games in a row.

Brooke McLemore spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on ten hits and racked up seven Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Karsyn Plaisance, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Paisley Brown was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run.

Dacula was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .469. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .367 or higher in three consecutive matchups.

Dacula's record is now 20-11. As for Camden County, they dropped their record down to 14-16 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
