La Jolla Country Day skates past Pacific Ridge with ease

The La Jolla Country Day Torreys scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They breezed by Pacific Ridge on the road to the tune of 101-17. La Jolla Country Day has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 24 points or more this season.

Leading La Jolla Country Day to victory were Mei-ling Perry and Naomi Panganiban. Perry scored 17 points along with six rebounds and six steals, while Panganiban dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten assists. Panganiban has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last ten times she's played. Another player making a difference was Safiyah Sugapong, who scored ten points along with seven steals.

La Jolla Country Day has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. As for Pacific Ridge, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-12.

La Jolla Country Day will head out on the road to challenge the Lancers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a five-game winning streak alive. As for Pacific Ridge, they will be playing at home against the Caimans at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Classical Academy is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
